The Independent Property Group Foundation was established in 2007 to assist people within the Canberra community in their time of need. It was publicly launched on 1st May 2009.
Since its launch, the Foundation has distributed over $200,000 back to our local community.
The Foundation’s latest donation was to Oz Harvest Canberra in July 2011, who received $40,000 to purchase a third delivery van to continue their valuable charitable work. Other assistance has been given to ACT Health for breast MRI services, the Juvenile Diabetes’ Research Foundation & Canberra Cancerians.
At Independent, we believe that an obligation of our success is to give back to the community that has contributed to that success. We have a strong family culture of mutual support and assistance and we are keen to share that with the wider community, giving our staff pride in making a difference to those in need.
A portion of the proceeds from all residential sales made by Independent Property Group are directed to the Foundation, and money is also raised by various fundraising activities undertaken by the staff and shareholders of Independent, and individual donations.
